Friends of Hayhurst School Inc. is a dedicated parent-teacher organization committed to strengthening our school community, fostering a love of learning, and ensuring every student has the resources they need to thrive at Hayhurst Elementary School.

Our fundraising and volunteer efforts bridge the gap between school resources and the needs of students, ensuring that every child has access to the tools and opportunities necessary for success. We provide essential support for classroom programs, school-wide initiatives, and on-campus improvements.

School Supplies for All: Covering the cost of essential supplies for every student and classroom.
Field Trip Access for All: Ensuring every child can participate, regardless of financial need.
Teacher Stipends & Grants: Providing resources to enhance classroom learning.
Community Events: Organizing beloved school traditions like the Monster Mash Run, Trunk or Treat, the Sweetheart Dance, and the year-end carnival.
Staff Appreciation: Celebrating and supporting our dedicated teachers and staff year-round.
Campus Enhancements: Maintaining our beautiful courtyard garden and native plant landscaping.
Advocacy & Volunteering: Supporting families and our school at the district and state level, as well as organizing volunteers for school activities.
